CONTENT
This Web site has three components.
The first component,
EVALUATION TIPSHEETS, answers a number of questions that
extension staff have asked about program evaluation. The
EVALUATION TIPSHEETS are teaching tools that apply scientific
and communication principles to an extension evaluation
problem in the field. The EVALUATION TIPSHEETS are cross-referenced
in the Subject Index and listed in the Tipsheet Title Index.
A new Tipsheet appears every month (click on the home-page
front door).
The second component,
PA EVALUATION EXAMPLES, provides an array of evaluations
implemented in Pennsylvania. This component provides more
illustrations for designing an evaluation. The EXAMPLES
demonstrate how to use a variety of data collection methods
to evaluate programs delivered in diverse ways, from a broad-based
newsletter to a one-on-one interaction. Each example illustrates
many good facets of an evaluation. Some have appeared in
dossiers and others are ongoing works.
The third component,
OTHER EVALUATION RESOURCES, provides links to over sixty
other useful Web sites and a list of printed references
with their Penn State library numbers. New resources and
evaluation examples will be added quarterly.
