Career Speaker Series County: Mercer Contact Name: Maggie Mase (724)662-3141 Date: June 19th, 2008 Number of credits: 2 Target Audience: All Time: 7:30-9:00pm Location : Mercer County Extension Office Description : Are you thinking about potential careers in agriculture,
but are unsure of what your options are? If so, be sure to attend the
4-H speaker series. Over the summer and throughout the fall various agricultural
speakers will present valuable information on how they achieved the agricultural
position that they currently hold. In many cases, these speakers were
past 4-H members or have close ties to the 4-H program. Mark your calendars
-the first career night will be Thursday, June 19th from 7:30 p.m.
- 9:00 p.m. at the Mercer County Extension Office. This evening will
focus on careers in animal health and nutrition. Quality assurance credits
will be offered and Mercer County Ag Development Council will provide
pizza. Registration is recommended by June 13th to ensure adequate supplies
