Strong Women Strong Bones

Staying physically active and being properly nourished is one of the most important things we can do to stay healthy for life. The program is held twice a week for 6 weeks, where women participate in regular strengthening exercises. The exercises help to reduce the risks of osteoporosis and frailty by stimulating the growth of muscles and bones.

Nutrition information is provided to learn healthy eating habits. This is part of Dr. Miriam Nelson's research from Tufts University title - Strong Women Strong Bones.

Contact the Warren County Cooperative Extension 814 -563-9388 for information on place and time of classes in Warren and Crawford counties.
